Project Description
As part of a comprehensive refurbishment of two boarding houses at a private school, our team was responsible for the replacement of outdated and deteriorated timber sash windows with modern, energy-efficient UPVC alternatives. The works were confined to the first and second floors of both buildings.
Scope of Works:
- Supply and installation of 80 new UPVC double-glazed sash windows
- White internal and external finishes to match existing aesthetics
- Careful removal of original timber sash windows, including protective measures to manage lead-based paint hazards
- Reinstatement of decorative brickwork around window reveal
