Project Description
Located in the sought-after borough of Ealing, West London, Lovelace House is a residential development comprising 137 units, completed in 2007. Following an external survey conducted by Tennyson Suite, a series of comprehensive remediation works were recommended to address critical building safety concerns.
The key recommendations included:
- Full removal of the existing External Wall Insulation (EWI)
- Remediation of the underlying building structure, including replacement of brick shelf angles
- Installation of a new EWI system incorporating updated fire safety components
Scope of Work:
- Survey of concrete frame & blockwork & production of a schedule of repairs
- Removal of the EPS render system
- Undertake agreed repairs
- Install new cavity barriers
- Install new insulation (bonded & mechanically fixed)
- Install new Wetherby A2 rated render system
- Install new communal fire doors & flat entrance doors
- Replace AOV units
- Install new MAOV to lower floors
