Project Description

Located in Bow in Tower Hamlets, this project consists of multiple fire safety improvements to three apartment blocks, funded by the government.
The buildings were previously clad with combustible cladding, with external walkways and balconies that all had raised timber decks.
The residents remained in-situ throughout the contract, and we engaged in meticulous liaison throughout the works led by our Resident Liaison Officer.

The property consists of three separate apartment blocks ranging from six to nine storeys in height. Each block was previously clad in a mix of aluminium,
insulated render, and timber panels, which had been investigated and condemned as posing a significant fire risk to the residents of the properties. RJ O’Neill replaced the cladding and insulation to form a new wall build-up to achieve EWS1 compliance.
