Project Description

Located off London Road in Isleworth, Heath House is a multi-use residential building containing 59 flats. The residences are spread over a block ranging from three to six storeys. Following an external survey the recommendation was given for ‘full removal of the current external wall insulation (EWI), remediation of the building and installation of a new EWI system with new fire components’.

This scope of the remediation comprises the following elements:

Removal of the existing brickwork
Careful storage of the bricks for re-installation following installation of new cavity barriers/insulation
Removal of existing insulation
Installation of new cavity barriers
Re-installation of brickwork
Removal of existing rainscreen cladding systems (Bauclad HPL/ACM panels/ACM around Oriel windows)
Install new cavity barriers (existing insulation remains)
Install new cladding systems

The building will remain fully occupied throughout the works.
