Project Description

Tileman House, located off Upper Richmond Road in Putney, is a residential development comprising 58 apartments situated above commercial premises on the ground and first floors.
The residential units span six to ten storeys across the building’s footprint. Following an external façade survey, it has been determined that the existing external wall insulation and cavity fire barriers require replacement to ensure compliance with current building regulations.
The remediation works will involve the systematic removal and replacement of façade elements, cavity barriers, and insulation, while maintaining full occupation of the building throughout the project.

This scope of the remediation comprises the following elements:

  • Removal of the existing brickwork
  • Careful storage of the bricks for re-installation following installation of new cavity barriers/insulation
  • Removal of existing insulation
  • Installation of new cavity barriers
  • Re-installation of brickwork
  • Removal of existing reconstituted stone rainscreen cladding systems
  • Install new cavity barriers and external wall insulation
  • Install new cladding systems

The building will remain fully occupied throughout the works.
