We are pleased to announce our appointment by MTD Housing to deliver the external cladding remediation of Ashcombe House and Herbert House in Wimbledon, with works commencing imminently and completion scheduled during 2027.
Following the successful delivery of the initial investigations, BAPA applications and Building Control activities under a PCSA, we will shortly be moving into the main remediation phase.
The remediation scheme will see R J O’Neill undertake the comprehensive replacement of existing EPS render, window infill panels and curtain walling infill systems, introducing new insulated and A2-rated non-combustible solutions, alongside associated external works.
With both buildings fully occupied and backing directly onto Network Rail railway lines, the project presents complex logistical, access and resident liaison challenges. Our specialist remediation team are working closely with Network Rail and residents to ensure the works are delivered safely, compliantly and with minimal disruption.
This latest appointment further strengthens R J O’Neill’s growing portfolio of specialist external wall and cladding remediation projects, building on our experience delivering complex fire safety and façade remediation schemes across the residential sector.
