Project Description
This ambitious project involved the full refurbishment and extension of a multi-storey building on a prominent corner site fronting Euston Road. Our client undertook a full strip-out and the formation of new stair and lift cores. A two-storey cross-laminated timber (CLT) roof extension was constructed to house the new lecture theatre.
Façade & Envelope Package:
- Supply and installation of new composite windows to both refurbished and new-build areas
- Installation of large aluminium-framed windows and curtain walling to the new lecture theatre
- Design, supply, and installation of copper cladding to the lecture theatre façade
Key Technical Elements:
- Large-Scale Glazing: High-specification aluminium curtain walling and large-format glazed units were installed to enhance natural light and provide a modern aesthetic to the new lecture theatre.
- Copper Cladding: The lecture theatre was clad in precision-installed copper panels, providing both durability and a distinctive architectural finish.
